After breakfast and hotel pick-up, let’s head to the pier for the 4-hour cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Absorb in those amazing sights with your family on the top open deck: karst peaks and lush forest flank both sides of the river, bamboo rafts gliding over the clear water, and egrets soaring just above. Those rock formations on the cliff surface will spark children’s curiosity, keeping them engaged in the journey. The cruise is covered with a simple lunch box; it’s a good idea to prepare some snacks in advance if you have any special dietary needs.

Once we dock in Yangshuo, let’s explore its rural scenery at a more tactile pace with cycling along the Ten-Mile Gallery. The gentle, flat roads make it easy and fun for everyone! Against the backdrop of majestic limestone peaks, a gentle breeze will carry you past rice paddies, water buffalo, and traditional local farmhouses. Without the roar of traffic, children will explore these animated movie-like scenes with random stops to run freely through the rice fields and observe turning water wheels. Additionally, your guide will accompany you to visit a local family midway, probing into their agricultural lives with heartfelt conversations.

Our journey will then extend to West Street, a blend of cultures showcased through its antique Chinese architecture and buzzing Western cafes and bars. Your family can get up close to handicrafts like bamboo weaving and silversmithing, or find a riverside restaurant for dinner at your own expense. By the way, the Sugar House Restaurant is quite popular, which was transformed from a disused sugar mill. 

Conclude today’s sightseeing with watching the night show ‘Impression Sanjie Liu’ set against the Li River. Based on the legend of the beloved folk singer Sanjie Liu, it enchants with a mix of classic folk songs, cormorant fishing, and dreamy lighting effects. After the show, we’ll escort you back to your hotel.

Today, let’s explore Yangshuo in the most authentic local way! In the morning, your guide and driver will pick up your family and escort you to the pier for a bamboo raft tour along the Yulong River. Get close to lush hills, rice paddies, and ancient bridges on the slow-moving and crystal-clear waters, and experience the entirely manual-powered rafting. Your kids will be excited to see a kaleidoscope of karst peaks and observe water plants along the way. After disembarking, we’ll hike along the river on trails with no steep sections, manageable for all ages. It’s advisable to prepare some food before setting off, so that you can enjoy a picnic anywhere you desire.

Leave behind strenuous hikes; instead, we’ll ascend to the summit effortlessly by a round-trip cable car through the karst peak forests. From the 360° viewing platform, you can overlook panoramic views of Ten-Mile Gallery and Moon Hill. What makes the peak so different are the heart-pounding experiences: take photos with fluttering prayer ribbon on the gently swaying Ruyi Suspension Bridge, stroll along the 138-meter (453-foot) long Necklace Glass Skywalk on the cliffside, and get a close-up view of the forest canopy through the grid floors along the Forest Skywalk.
