The performance integrates various artistic elements like music, dance, singing, magic, and acrobatics, delivering an awe-inspiring experience.

2. It blends indoor folk performances with outdoor hard qigong stunts, a kind of Chinese martial arts.

1. Long Table Banquet: The hospitable Dong people perform their “guest-grabbing” custom through song and dance. After a lively dance, Dong girls would invite audience to join their dance.
2. Climbing the Tower: A unique Yao people’s marriage custom. As night falls, maidens await their love in stilted boudoirs, while a drum dance reveals the eager hearts of Yao boys.
3. Border Town: Inspired by the heroine Cuicui’s story from a famous novel “Border Town” by the local writer Shen Congwen, this graceful performance captures the heartfelt emotions of the local people.
